Network Days 2010
Saturday 8 May 2010 "Planning a Taster Event for Spiritual Direction" Leader: Jane Booth and members of Spi-Dir team.
This workshop is for anyone who has a desire to see people grow spiritually as they seek God, whether or not you are a leader within your church. Perhaps you might consider bringing along a group or a friend so that you can work as a team to make a specific plan for a taster event for your church or fellowship. Venue: Douai Abbey, Upper Woolhampton, Reading, Berks RG7 5TQ
Please download the flyer at the foot of this page.
Thursday 17 June 2010 "The Spirituality of Children and Young People" Leader: Jill Fuller, who was for some years children's adviser in the Salisbury Diocese and who has written novels and other books designed for children to come to terms with, for example, the death of a parent.
How can we be alongside children and young people in relation to their growing spirituality? Jill will want to build on the experience of those attending and draw out some of the implications. Venue: TBA
Two days of "Working with the Enneagram" Leader: Josephine Seccombe, who is a graduate of Enneagram Professional Training in the Narrative Tradition, taught by Helen Palmer and David Daniels. She is an Affiliate of their Trifold School of Enneagram Studies.
Saturday 11 September 2010: "First steps with the Enneagram, an Introductory Day". This workshop aims to help people find themselves on the circle of nine, supports them as they begin to appreciate what this means and encourages deeper understanding both of self and the differences with the other eight.
Saturday 25 September 2010: "Deepening our uses of the Enneagram". A workshop for people who are familiar with the theory of subtypes and know their own primary subtype. (It is therefore not suitable for those who have attended the basic introductory day only). This day will look in more substance at behaviour in the three settings and also introduce the nine types of defences.
Venue for both the above: Diocesan Church House, North Hinksey, Oxford, OX2 0NB
NB It is not possible to attend both days as the second day requires participants to have some understanding of subtypes. We hope to offer a day on sub-types in 2011. To register an interest or for further information, please contact Andrew.Meynell@oxford.anglican.org
