Supervision is the best way of enabling your own development as a Spiritual Director/Soul Friend and is in the best interests of those with whom you work. Supervision can be either one-to-one or in a group. The question of payment for supervision is endlessly debated in the spiritual direction networks. The superviser will negotiate with you directly. Something in the region of £10 per two hour group session is a good place to start. Some leaders will want you to make a donation to a charity of their choice, others need to earn their living and all need to pay for their own on-going training.
