If you are here, it means you are either: `Curious about what the class is going to have. `Ready to take the class. `Unsure you want the class, but currently checking to see if your decision can change. As the creator of Special Effects, I can honestly say that there are so many things that I do not know. Not only am I the wrong idea of what a teacher should be, I am also the wrong person to ever go to for advice. But it's BECAUSE of these weaknesses that I am here today telling you that I will be your teacher and student. I will teach you what I know, and in return you tell me what YOU know. Wicca can be a self-learning process, but you will always seek help from someone. Whether it be an author, or an article a person wrote, you're still seeking it from someone. Objective;; To learn as much as you can about Wicca and Paganism, and to find where you rightfully belong. To help others as they would help you, and to seek knowledge and forever hold that thought in your mind. Thought: Give me knowledge (for the pea-pod brains out there who are slow like me, haha). I can't promise you anything. Really, I can't. But my responsibility as leader is what pushes me to be the best I can. I have been studying relentlessly these past few days attaining knowledge for the future lessons you will have, and to make it simple, there are only a few things you will need for this to work: `Your knowledge (if you have any) on Wicca and Paganism. `A pen and notebook (to take notes on what I and other people say). `An open mind. There is nothing more I could possibly ask for. WHAT THE CLASSES SHALL COVER;; Many members of the group are particularly new to the religion. Some know what Wicca is, and head dead straight into it without knowing what PAGANISM is. All the books you covered on Wicca don't generally explain the meaning of Paganism, which is wrong considering Wicca is a sub-group OF that religion. I will be thoroughly studying and teaching you what Paganism is, where it came from, what brought Wicca around, and basically all the history about it. WHEN THEY SHALL BEGIN;; Classes shall begin sometime in the month of October. Because I'll be studying and taking the SAT, it will have to be AFTER October 20th. Of course, we will not have the class on Samhain (or Halloween, to put it in normal terms), because we'll be doing a ritual that day.
