People message me, asking me many questions about Special Effects. So, to make this easier for myself and for others, I've created a FAQ so everyone can have their questions answered.

1) Is there a particular variation of Wicca you specialize in? - NO. Everyone in the group is finding their OWN spiritual path. We're all Pagan/Wiccan of course, but we're all different types, or studying different types. We have people studying Shamanism, Lycian, Green, we have people who are Eclectic, Dianic, Hereditary Witch, and so on. You are welcome to share your own beliefs, and we would never judge you. Of course there are skeptics who analyze the information you give them, but that's because we try to figure out whether you're here for fun, or seriously here to learn. Of course, most of time, we hardly get on topic with religion since we're busy enjoying ourselves with each other.

2) Do you need in depth knowledge of Wicca before you join, or will you learn along the way? - You only need to know one thing about Wicca before you join. --> It's serious business. Wicca isn't for everyone, and if you feel that in the end, it ISN'T what you want, you don't have to be Wiccan. You also don't have to leave the group. We're supporters of each other, and are there for you until the end. You will learn along the way, since we're always buying books for each other.

3)  What is so special about Special Effects? - I've been asked this question a lot, and never really knew how to answer it. What makes Special Effects so different from every other group... the answer would have to be that we're extremely broad. I've noticed many of the groups on Witchvox are generally looking for certain types, certain genders, and certain numbers of people to join. Special Effects is broad enough to a point where almost all the members have different beliefs. I can honestly say we're close to having each of every kind of Wiccan there is. We also accept all genders. Whether you're male, female, or both. We don't CARE about what you have under your clothes. We're also one of the extremely few groups who accept more than seven members, which is great. Yes, I've done a lot of studying in our section of Witchvox. Haha. Special Effects has the whole package.

4) Why only 14-21? - Well, for one, our group is in the TEEN group of Witchvox. Generally the term teenager means 13-18, but since  even at 18 you're under privilaged, I put the age limit to 21. This does NOT mean that if you're 20 turning 21, you'll be thrown out. No, Special Effects grows with each other. It gets older as we do. The reason I chose 14 instead of 13, is because I'm just plain mean. Haha.

5) Does Special Effects do rituals together? - There was only one time where some of the members of group did a ritual together. And it was to celebrate Samhain. After that, we never did a ritual together again. Not because we don't want to, but because many of the members in the group have different beliefs, and during a ritual, it'd be hard to focus on one certain God or Goddess (which is why in group ritual, I think it's best you use the God and Goddess in general). But most of the members do go to festivals where they have rituals and celebrations.

6) Do you find the members trustworthy? - Trust is an important factor in Special Effects. We trust you with our friendship, our thoughts and feelings, our books, and anything else we offer to each other. I know for a fact that the members of the group are trustworthy.

7) How often does the group meet? - Well due to my recent lack of bringing the group together, I've been trying to bring the group together. I'm trying to get it to a "Meet every two weeks" type of thing, but some people are really busy. But if anything, most meetings are random. You'll be notified by E-MAIL, so PLEASE check your mail daily. It will not be my fault if you don't get the message.
