Yr 11 RS Exam

Year 11 - Introduction to Theology   -   Final Exam  -  2009

before starting your exam -  read below

 

1.       This exam is 2 hours in length, all students must remain in the exam for 2 hours.

2.       There are FOUR SECTIONS, answer all four sections.

3.       In each Section you must answer both Part A and Part B:

(A)    Write four (4) short paragraphs about 60 words each, answer (4) NOT 7

(B)    Write one (1) short essay about 180 words, answering the Topic Question

4.       Each section is worth 60 marks:

Ø             Short paragraphs are worth 10 marks each.

Ø             Short essays are worth 20 marks.

Ø             Marks per section = 40 + 20 = 60

5.       Total Exam marks = 60 marks x 4 sections = 240/ 2.4 = 100%

6.        Spend 30 minutes on each section.

7.       Check your answers when you have finished.

 

You will gain marks by doing the following:

ü       Answering ALL parts of the Topic Question you choose.

ü       Defining clearly the meaning of the main terms of your topic.

ü       Explaining your understanding of the main ideas in the question.   

ü       Giving clear examples that show what you understand.

ü       Giving reasons, either for or against, for your answer.

ü      Asking interesting questions that show you have thought further about the topic.
