 The city
The history of Valencia goes for over 22 centuries. Old and modern buildings give the city a very unique atmosphere. You can find roman ruins along with the modern City of the Arts and Sciences. Centenary traditions are imbibed in Valencia’s citizens.
Valencia is the capital of the Autonomic Region of Valencia, the third largest city of Spain and a main and active business center with close to one million people. Its mild Mediterranean climate and large beaches attract many tourists. Besides monuments and beaches you will love the food and the active nigh life.
The School
The Language school Españole is part of the international firm International House, founded in 1953, with 130 language schools in 40 countries. Our goal is to teach you to communicate in Spanish as quickly as possible and at the same time to introduce you to Spanish culture and life.
The school is located in Valencia's historic centre one step away from everything. It occupies a 4-storey building and has excellent facilities for learning a language, 10 large outward facing classrooms, air-conditioned with natural light, all well equipped. In addition students have access to a library, video library, student lounge, computer room and terrace.
We offer a complete range of Spanish courses combined with cultural activities such as tours, excursions and outgoings which allow students to continue practicing Spanish after classes. We use a communicative approach and we will teach you how to deal with in everyday situations from day one.
Prices for 2010: Standard course (20 h./week): 150 €/week.
Spanish for Business. Designed for students and professionals who are interested in the world of business in Spanish-speaking countries. You will study specific language and linguistic structures used in business. 20 general Spanish classes + 5 Spanish for Business classes. Price (25 h./week): 190 €/week.
Spanish and Sailing. You will receive expert tuition, navigate and race in our boat "Espanole" which is a Beneteau Platu 25 based in Valencia Yacht Base. 20 Spanish lessons per week (4 lessons every day) and 10 hours of sailing lessons (3 days per week). Price: 300 €/week.
Accomodations. We offer four types of accommodations: Family, Shared apartments, Studios (Private apartments), or Student Residence.
Accommodation Prices (Single room) for 2010:
Family (half board): 175 €/week Residence (half board): 275 €/week Apartment: 110* €/week Studio: 1100* €/4 weeks. * 20% suplemment in summer

The sun always shine and you may swim, the sea is very close. At the beginning we did not want to study after a hard year of work, but classes were very interesting and I never got bored. Teachers love their job and tried to make things attractive. The school organizes parties and you can take dancing classes. I brought from Valencia god memories and I will definitely go back."
