About SHC

The UAHuntsville Space Hardware Club (SHC) is a campus wide engineering club in the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
We research, build, and launch mechanical/electrical hardware related to space development.

Our recent activities include HASP, BalloonSat, and CanSat. Go to Projects page for more detail.
The CanSat team had finished last year’s national CanSat Competition with 2nd place out of 20 participants


You are not MAE major? NO PROBLEM! The club is open to all majors.
SHC has 10+ active members from variety of majors such as Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Optics and Business Administration.

We regularly meet in TH N225 at 7:00pm every Tuesday, and in VBRH D20A at 7:00pm every Thursday.
