About Us

Who are Southwark FoE?

climateconf2

Southwark Friends of the Earth is a  pressure group working on campaigns relating to the environment and to social justice. We campaign on issues with a local connection, and also lobby for policy changes at the local, regional, national and international levels. We work on a diverse range of issues including sustainable transport, ‘real food’, waste and recycling, climate and air quality, social exclusion, and trade.

There is more detail about our campaigns on this site and in our newsletters.

The group consists entirely of volunteers, and our campaigns are funded entirely by membership, individual donations and charitable grants. We always welcome new supporters and active members, so please come along to one of our regular meetings and get involved!
