    Presented by Kathy Wilmouth, Civil War researcher

    Ms. Wilmouth specializes in period clothing, is a UDC chapter organizer, and genealogist who is well acquainted with the role of women in the larger context of the Civil War.  Her presentation will be interesting and informative.

    Renee Savits, Library of Virginia Historian

    Friday, September 23, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., R. T. Arnold Library

    Sponsored by the Mecklenburg Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee

     

    Ms. Savits will be digitizing locally held documents from the Civil War era- letters, maps, photos, and more. Call Leigh Lambert at 434-738- 6580 for information.
