Our policy has been updated to reflect our ever-growing appreciation of your support. All pattern licensing (inclusive of the South Mountain ~ Naturally, PurpleSage Designs and Cranberry Ocean Knits pattern lines) will fall under this new policy; this new policy replaces previous licensing statements on older patterns.

We are aware that not all jurisdictions around the world require the  owner of a knitting pattern to work under licensing conditions; however,  for those of you who do live in jurisdictions where permissions are required - here you go.

Selling Finished Objects hand knit from a South Mountain ~ Naturally, PurpleSage Designs or Cranberry Ocean Knits pattern: Being a small business ourselves, we encourage entrepreneurship in hand-knitters who would like to sell items personally hand knit from our patterns, whether for charity or personal profit. If you would like to acknowledge the pattern’s source and / or designer then we thank you for your generosity. We wish you much success! :) 

If you own pattern published before March 1, 2011, this policy supersedes all licensing conditions in patterns published prior to this date.
