Longer SCOG walks

I was wondering whether any SCOG members are looking at doing any longer assisted walks in 2011, either in Australia or overseas.

Last year I did the Queen Charlotte Track in NZ and this year I did an 8 day walk along the Larapinta Trail out of Alice Springs.

While I was lucky with the others on the walks, if others from Scog are planning any walks, I would be interested in considering joining them. Any suggestions? Email Peter

Smoking on SCOG Activities

SCOG doen't have a smoking policy but it’s a bit disappointing to go kilometres away in the outdoors with fresh air everywhere but then, about a metre away, someone lights a fag and we get smoke in our face. Could smokers please take into consideration where they smoke?

Your thoughtfulness will be appreciated.
