January 2010 Identification and Education of Exceptional Students
Description: This course is required for certification of teachers in the state of Georgia. Upon meeting the course requirements, participants will demonstrate knowledge of historical background, legal issues and mandates, identification procedures and delivery of services, instructional models and practices, and conceptual issues related to the field of special education.
