*** New Members Night is Every Night ***

SOUNDWAVES Chorus rehearsals are on Monday nights at 7:00pm to about 10:00pm at Central Coast Leagues Club in Dane St. Gosford. (Usually in the Park View Room, Level 1, Inquire at the front desk)

You can also contact our Membership Officer

Visitors and potential NEW MEMBERS are always welcome so if you're interested in singing with us or just want to listen, then come along and introduce yourself.

Move on to full membership if you want by learning and qualifying to sing a few of our songs.

*No prior singing experience is necessary.*

After joining our ranks you will be getting free singing lessons every week from our vocal coach and music director. Singing techniques will be improved and you will experience the fun, camaraderie and achievement of singing and harmonising in a chorus.

*You don't have to read music.*

All of our songs for each part are available as a cd or mp3 and sheet music is provided.
Members learn their songs at home through the week then we rehearse with the chorus on Monday nights.

Most barbershop singers have average voices but when you put them all together into a chorus the sound becomes greater than the sum of its parts.

If you're interested in joining us then we will find your natural singing range.

The assessment takes only a few minutes.

You sing some simple notes then one of our music team members will determine which one of the four parts of our style of acapella singing will best suit you.

~ BASS is a low resonant voice.
~ LEAD or melody is a mid to high range voice.
~ BARITONE or TENOR is usually suitable for those who read music or have a natural ability to harmonize.

A one off fee of $10 recovers the cost of sheet music for non-members.

The clubs annual fees are currently set at $100 per year.
