Bob Ridge-Stearn
Bob is Head of e-Learning and is co-ordinating the project at Newman.

Dr Antony Ward
Tony is Head of Psychology and counselling at Newman. He has been a lecturer in psychology for over twenty years, including a spell spent at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. He is very interested in developing technology-enhanced teaching, and led the development of a Masters at Newman delivered entirely online.

Carol Aston

Carol is Senior Lecturer in Primary English, teaching trainee teachers (undergraduates and postgraduates) how to teach English to primary age children. Last year she completed a PG Cert Ed. at BCU and was given audio feedback for some assignments, which she says she found very beneficial and much more effective than written feedback and so she is very keen to give audio feedback to her own students.

Steve Dixon

Steve is Senior Lecturer in Education and Professional Studies at Newman. He is interested in the uses of technology in education, particularly multimedia. Steve is incorporating the Sounds Good project into feedback within two main courses - a first-year undergraduate Introduction to Education Studies module, and a postgraduate Research Skills module.

Lorna Dodd

Lorna is Fellow in Academic Practice and Programme Leader for the MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology. She has a particular interest in the effectiveness of virtual learning environments to aid student learning experiences and problem-based learning approaches.
