It's that time of the year again when thousands of AV and Hifi enthusiasts
travel to Bristol for the Bristol
Show. Advice - Additional Information and great value deals during the Sound And Vision Bristol Show available by clicking here Bristol Sound And Vision Show About two years I travelled down to the Bristol Show from Manchester, to see the latest models from the big boys in AV. Further information on how to save money during the Bristol Sound And Vision Show can be found in this You Tube video Bristol Show After a three hour train journey with a bunch of welsh rugby supporters I
arrived at The Bristol Marriott hotel, which half a mile from the station. Once
we arrived the at the Marriott we paid our £8 entrance fee picked up a floor
plan and went off to explore what was on show. On the ground floor near the entrance I found a great selection of accessory companies, showcasing cables and AV Furniture, stands and cabinets. Spectral the German furniture manufacturer was there with a selection of their premium stands, and Atacama with their sleek stylish and performance enhancing racks. In the meeting and conference rooms of the Marriott hotel was where big AV brands were. These brands included Yamaha, KEF, Mission, Sony and JVC, with their large products out on demonstration. In the KEF room, on one of the lower floors they had the incredible Moun Speakers on demo, these the 7ft tall chrome floor speakers sounded and looked incredible. Upstairs in the bedrooms of the Bristol Marriott the rooms had been transformed into intimate demonstration rooms by each brand, allowing the visitors and show goers an up close and personal experience of their equipment. At the Bristol Sound and Vision show you are sometimes able to buy equipment directly from the manufactures at slightly discounted prices. Walking round the show I did come across some great bits of kit that I was interested in, there was a lot of products there that I would have to re-mortgage my house for. . I took down a few products codes and prices, and then called my local AV and Hifi dealer, Sound and Vision Bolton to see if they could match or better the price. The professionals at Sound and Vision could match and sometimes better most of the price I had been given from the retailers at the Bristol Show. I left the show really pleased with what I had seen and the savings I made by ring my local Sound and vision retailer for prices. This year the Bristol show is expected to be even bigger, seeing the launch
of some really amazing products, I would recommend however, you take the Sound
and Vision number and see if they are cheaper.
