Stephanie is a born and bred Ohio-an with a passion for music, literature, and technology. She's been playing piano since the wee age of 3 and was classically trained until she decided to pursue rock n' roll instead of Mozart. Her vocal ability came naturally, with the assistance of some high school years in choir and show choir (JAZZ HANDS!) and a few private lessons. She was doing solo gigs at restaurants, weddings, and posh parties until Soul Kitchen scooped her up and corrupted her with their rock music and outrageous Hawaiian shirts.

 

Outside of Soul Kitchen, Stephanie works for a law firm in downtown Toledo where she puts to use her degree in Criminal Justice and l33t computer skillz. She is also a Lucas County citizen-representative to the Corrections Commission of Northwest Ohio. A graduate of the University of Toledo, she decided to settle near her alma mater with her ill-behaved cats, appropriately named Bonnie and Clyde. Stephanie writes science fiction and fantasy in addition to the occasional song. She also considers herself a SuperNerd and dares anyone to test her nerd-ery.
