We stayed the night in Austin on Thursday and went to a benefit concert featuring Iron & Wine. It was a great concert, but we didn't particularly care for the " friends" part. Irwin, our new Subie, took us to some remote beach on the Padre Island National Seashore. Earlier in the day, we watched some Kemps Ridley Sea Turtle hatchlings being released into the wild. We ate some pretty good food around Corpus Christi and enjoyed breakfast in bed at the Omni. Sunday morning we visited the Texas State Aquarium, though we still like the Dallas one much better. Not bad for a weekend getaway. :)  |

We got a great deal on airfare to London so we're going for our anniversary. You can expect great pictures from that trip!
