The Grand Anse Playgroup (GAP) was created to support students and their families while attending SGU.
The GAP operates from a small building on the Grand Anse Campus and offers programs for infants (3 months and above), toddlers (18 months to 3 years) and children ages 3 years and older. The grouping of children in each playgroup will facilitate the child's natural learning while still providing interactions with children of similar ages.
The GAP is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday during SGU terms (Aug-Dec, Jan-June).
The GAP is committed to providing high quality, age appropriate, caring and nurturing playgroups in safe and healthy environments. Experienced caregivers will facilitate individual, small and large group activities. For more information, please contact the director. It is the final stop on True Blue/Grand Anse bus route.
The GAP is housed in the building immediately to your right, once you have entered through the main gates of the campus parking lot. The building is yellow with a red roof. During the week between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm the building is used by the GAP. Significant others are welcome to drop in but must supervise their children at all times. You will be required to use the age-appropriate room for your child and participate in the GAP activities.
All significant others who attend the GAP with their children as a drop in during business hours, after hours, and/or on the weekends must sign a waiver form at the beginning of each term even if one has been signed for a previous term. |
