REACH Grenada Volunteer Opportunity

The Bartholomew J. Lawson Foundation for Children (BJLFC), a New York based non-profit organization started REACH Grenada in 2008 with the mission of improving the health and well-being of Grenada’s most vulnerable youth.  REACH Grenada programs aim to support the healthy development of child survivors of abuse, neglect and abandonment living in group residential homes in Grenada.

Do you have any free time and want to make a difference in the lives of others?

REACH Grenada is looking for volunteers to assist with their Youth Skill Building Program in various children’s homes throughout Grenada.

The weekly youth program incorporates yoga exercises, visualizations, music, art, drama and games to promote self-regulation, emotional literacy and social skills. Our curriculum is trauma-sensitive and we ensure that each lesson is age appropriate, fun and engaging.

We are looking for fun loving, positive individuals who are willing to take part, get to know the children and offer additional teaching support to the caregiver teachers in the homes.
