Sonrise Christian School started in 1996 as an answer to a calling by God on the hearts of Christians who wanted to make a real difference in children’s lives. In a society with a growing disdain for life-affirming values and a seeming decline in the quality of education, our school was established to provide children with the foundation and preparation they need to become responsible citizens who are able to engage in building a healthy, productive society. In God is the light of knowledge.
2 Corinthians 4:5-6
"5For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ."
