The National Oval Track Racing Association (NOTRA) is the governing body for oval racing. SOMOS conducts all race meets with complete compliance to NOTRA rules and regulations. Each event must be pre-scheduled and approved by NOTRA for the competition to be recognized for points towards titles and legitimacy. We suggest anyone interested in competing in SOMOS or any other recognized organization to visit the NOTRA web site to attain information, rules, documentation and familiarization with the sport of amateur oval racing.
