Another great day.  Even though it was over 100 degrees, we got a lot done.  It's good, because the boys are leaving on Sunday for 2 weeks.  Hopefully a few more things are getting done before they leave and nothing will break while they are gone.
Today we set up the round pen panels and around those, we set up rail road ties to hold the sand in.  The RR ties are held together by some metal strips screwed into them.  I think we will need another half load of sand.  I am afraid to put too much sand in the round pen, but at the same time I don't want to have so little that the horses will go straight through to the base.  I also would love to get rubber for the round pen, maybe instead of mirrors.
Dacey came and pounded in the remainder of the poles for Sarah Lam's new pasture.  The boys installed uprights and top rail of the back side of the pasture so that the watering system is functional.  We can do horizontals and the upper part when they get back.  In the meantime, we will seed Bermuda grass tomorrow to give it a chance to sprout before the end of the season maybe.
And yes, Anton installed the part for the Eurocizer which is now functioning again.
