| The Eurocizer stopped working this weekend. Anton looked into it this morning and figured out that it is not electronic but mechanical. A part broke that is supposed to break with heavy concussion in order to save the motor. Anton ordered it and as soon as it will get here he will install it. The annoying thing is that the part is $100. Now, say I, why not design the system with a less expensive part to sacrifice to save the motor? Poor design, this Euro Gait Master. We also made contact with the sand for the round pen which should arrive here tomorrow morning. Then we will hold it in with some railroad ties and move the pipe pen. Anton lined up steel for the new pasture for Sarah Lam's fillies. He fixed the leak in the main line by the well and also fiddled with the water pressure at the well. It looks like the new cycle stop valve he installed last week is performing as expected. It is keeping the pressure constant rather than cycling up and down 20 psi. That is making the sprinklers run much better and he was able to turn up the pressure. Larry worked on a trakehner jump for the cross country course. The Log and supports are done. Tomorrow he will dig a swale and set a ground log. I updated the website and wrote barn rules. |
