Solihull Amateur Radio Society Affiliated to the Radio Society of Great BritainThe next meeting will be on 17th May at 7.45pm:- A discussion on 'What's New' (Technology and Events) The Society supports and encourages all aspects of Amateur Radio. Whilst the membership is largely made up of licenced Radio Amateurs from the Solihull area, all are welcome. Short-wave listeners, aspiring transmitting-amateurs and anyone with an interest in the technology of radio communication are especially invited to come along. Meetings are held at The Shirley Centre, 274 Stratford Road, Shirley, Solihull, on the third Thursday evening each month, and generally consist of a short presentation and discussion on some facet of radio communication, after which drinks are available.
