Elanor's Guide to the Disc

Maurice Trimbleworthy
Lounge of Cutangle Inn, Brass Neck

Maurice is a wizard of the Order of Hoodwinkers, but of indeterminate rank.
He is quite chatty and likes to spout his opinions on a variety of matters, but his job is selling custom cloaks suitable for a wizard of style and flair.

The cloaks he makes are long, flowing and majestic and come with a choice of wand scabbards or pockets.
The pockets can hold 2 pounds or 20 items and the scabbards hold up to four wands.
The pocketed robes also have an option to push back the hood to expose your face and hat.
Although at present this is redundant as they are visible anyway.
A silk cloak costs a little over 1 1/2 Lancre Soverigns and takes a day and a half (disc time) to complete.

Standard verbal ordering procedure applies and while Maurice has a trace of accent his Morporkian is extremely good.
Upon beginning the order the first choice selection is which fabric you would wish your cloak made from.
The three choices being
velvet, wool and silk.

Once you have informed Maurice of your fabric preferences he will ask you what colour you wish the cloak to be.
Maurice Trimbleworthy says: Ye can choose from the following:
fourecksianite purple, malachite green, midnoight black, charcoal grey, rose-coloured, diamond white, peridot green, sapphire blue, golden brown, raven black, mossy green, loight brown, dark purple, cobalt blue, ultramarine, snow white, aquamarine, slate blue, garnet red, onyx black, dark green, loight grey, dark brown, ocean blue, leaf green, smoky grey, stone grey, jet black, icy white, dark grey, dark blue, carnelian, sea green, sky blue, amethyst, ice blue, ruby red, burgundy, crimson, emerald, scarlet, indigo, violet, silver, purple, white, black, brown, green, topaz, blue, grey and red.

The next stage is the decoration and once again there are a number of choices available to the discerning buyer.
Maurice Trimbleworthy says: Ye can choose from the following:

Next is a choice of threads for the embroidering of the above symbols:

Finally you chose whether you want pockets or wand scabbards and then Maurice will inform you what your cloak will look like and ask you to confirm the order.

Long, flowing, and majestic, this cloak envelops the wearer in a swirl of ocean blue silk from shoulders to knees. A number of swirling clouds, done in white silk thread, are scattered across the material, and the tall collar is embroidered with matching sigils of warding and protection.

Long, flowing, and majestic, this cloak envelops the wearer in a swirl of snow white silk from shoulders to knees. A number of lightning bolts, done in gold thread, are scattered across the material, and the tall collar is embroidered with matching sigils of warding and protection. Just inside the front, four loops hang down, each one the perfect size to hold a wand close to hand.
It could sheathe a wand or stick.
