Capture the Flag

 Underlined texts are hyperlinks.
A little southwest of Ankh-Morpork lie the ancient ruins of the Beezing Monastery.
The ancient power of the Beezing Monks still permeates the area and the monastery has been converted into a capture the flag arena.
Capture the Flag is a team event where you run around trying to hoist some underpants up a flagpole.
Within the arena everyone is a target and no one is safe.

To reach the Beezing Monastery.
Leave Ankh-Morpork by the Onion gate or the Shambling gate and head towards Klatch.
When you reach the crossroads at Upper Tulip, take the fork leading southeast.
Alternatively you can take the Istanzia River route carriage from the Onion Gate to Upper Tulip.
You can also call for a taxi

While in the arena score and score brief give the roleplaying mode displays, even if you are using normal mode.
Monitor displays numbers as normal.

Communication
Tells and group say as normal.
There is also an area channel (CTF) which will enable you to send a message to everyone in the area.
There are also team channels.
Most teams form groups though, this being the easiest form of communication and also protecting from friendly fire area spells.
A talker ring is available from the universal rack.

PK CTF
There are CTF boxes and advanced CTF boxes available from the magic shop in Hillshire.
These allow PKs to play CTF anywhere they want, although deaths will be PK deaths, not just temporary paralysis.
A catch the flag box costs A$250
An advanced catch the flag box costs A$2500

Flag box - allows for the creation of catch the flag games

create ctf game called <name> with <colours>

This item allows you to create catch the flag games.  The game will be created with however many coloured
bases as you want.  When all the bases are fixed in place a ball is created and given to the person who
created the game.  The game is then on.  Whoever gets the ball to the marker and tags it first wins for their
     team.

The names for the colours will be stripped of spaces.  So make sure you use something useful as a colour name.

The advanced flag box has the additional benefits of allowing the teams to register for the games.  The ball
will only allow itself to go to team members, which should stop some messing about.  In the advanced game the
ball is sent to a random team member.
