How can I use Voice Threads in my class?

There are several uses. Last year, I uploaded a PowerPoint to Voice Thread and narrated it and actually used it as a substitute lesson plan.

As you may have seen in the demo, there are many types of media that can be shared, such as documents, presentations, pictures, or movies.  Students can share a piece, and others can comment.  Comments can be made with a microphone, through a cell phone, or typed directly on the computer, giving students many options for participating.
