| The SOHC Aquatics program has
grown quickly over the past several years. In 2000, there were only 4
athletes, and the only volunteers were the athletes' family members.
The head coach, Heather, stepped down, so Steve Cauthon and his family
stepped up to the coaching position. Coach Steve and the Cauthons
helped the program grow from those original 4 athletes and handful of
helpers to now around 40 athletes and lots of new volunteers from
close-by middle schools and high schools. The Noblesville Swim Club has
also helped us out at meets by supplying extra volunteers. Students
from Purdue University and many other colleges have recently been
involved as well. We are very grateful for all the help we receive for
SOHC Aquatics! And as big as the program may seem, it only continues to
grow! |
