This is due to the events not being approved by the National date-fixing team early last Dec, apparently due to bureaucratic differences of opinion between regional and national officials regarding the submission of event applications.  To make matter worse, we were not even notified that the events hadn't been accepted, and the first I was aware of the decision was when looking at the LVRC's 2012 Racing Programme when it was published a couple of weeks ago, and finding our races weren't listed.  I have subsequently contacted a couple of the individuals involved, but haven't been able to obtain a satisfactory explanation for the outcome.  Maybe I'll look into promoting next year when the frustrations of the past few weeks will, I hope,  have receded!!
