[Creative Language through Literature...an Integrated Program]
Presented by Mary Kline and Karen Combs
In her book Reading for the Love Of It, Michele Landsberg says, "The child who comes to school already having experienced the deep satisfactions of listening to stories is, as any teacher can testify, a privileged student, far ahead of the others in literacy skills, attention span, responsiveness to ideas, and capacity for abstraction."
In this session it was our desire to rekindle the joy and fascination you had as a child for the wonderful world of books. We hope you laughed with us, remembered with us, and dreamed with us as we shared ways in which books creatively inspire children both academically and whimsically.
May God richly bless you as you serve Him through the children.

RESOURCESThis book list was compiled by the Classical Homeschooling Organization. We sincerely thank them for allowing us to make this list available to you. Please visit their website for more information. We strongly recommend that you read a book in its entirety before making it a part of your C.L.I.P. program.
