SO WHAT ARE WE ALL ABOUT?

'The social sciences learning area is about how societies work and how people

can participate as critical, active, informed, and responsible citizens.' 

Our aim is to create global citizens who :

- Understand how people are connected both locally and globally.

- Know how society works.

- Know where they stand and what kind of impact they have on the world.

Learning areas included in this Department are:

Year 7 - 9 Social Studies (Integrated as part of Foundation Studies)

Year 10 Social Studies 

Year 11 - 13 History

Year 11 - 13 Geography
