Socialize! is not an online platform! Socialize! enables you to effectively manage your personal and business network. It saves your data where they belong: On your personal computer, or your password protected U3 Flash drive. Installing Socialize! on a U3 flash drive will let you carry the application and all data with you - no matter where you are, you will be able to use Socialize! on any Windows PC. In contrast to classical PIM software products (PIM: Personal Information Manager), Socialize! follows a new interaction based approach. That means that besides your tasks, contacts and appointments, Socialize! will also manage your interactions with your contacts. Networking means continuous exchange with your contacts. And by letting Socialize! know when you actually interacted with who, it is able to put those contacts into your range of vision that should be contacted again. Good to know that Socialize! can read this info automatically from your mobile phone and /or MS Outlook (TM). When you run Socialize!, the start-up window of Socialize! will display a list of people that should be contacted again. More than that, people to be contacted will be marked with an exclamation mark in all network views of Socialize!. The following screenshot shows all contacts with an importance of 10, those marked with an exclamation mark should be contacted again. Each person and each interaction, task, personal preference and almost any kind of object in Socialize! is displayed in a graphical network view with all its links and relations. To create or edit a relation, just drag and drog (right mouse button) from one object to the other. Tasks (To-Dos) and Personal Preferences are added right under the respective Contact rather than in a global task list. That way you see at a glance what To-Do belongs to which person. Or, when you look at a person's personal preferences, you will see at a glance who else among your contacts shares this preference. It's very easy to detect similarities among your contacts. You should add your contacts' personal preferences - when you then click on a preference of one of your contacts, the small network view will show you all other contacts who share this preference. |
