To join this group:
You will need to have completed an application form and set up a standing order. Please note – for sensible reasons, we reserve the right to refuse applications where this seems to be in the group’s best interests. Finally you need to set up a Yahoo ID and apply online to join the member's only part of the group. Look at the FAQ page for details of how to get access to the Members Area.

Guest Members also have the option of completing an application form and joining the online Social Buddies group for the duration of their Guest Membership. Please note:
Guest members who are not part of the online group should be represented on the calendar (for events they plan to attend) by the Members of whom they are a guest, or by contacting the Social Buddies organiser by text or phone to indicate attendance.
It is expected that Guest Membership would normally be used only as a short-term membership, eg as a way of evaluating whether to join the group as a Member, or for very occasional attendances at events by friends of Members who, eg do not live locally.
