So how do I join Social Buddies?
Social Buddies is a membership only group run through the internet, so you will need regular internet access. Fees for membership have been kept to a very moderate level, despite it being run at a ‘bespoke’ level of service, however there are always running costs and organiser's time that need to be covered!
Because Social Buddies is entirely based on meeting others at social meets, it is important that each member is willing to commit to attending meets. There is little point in having a large membership who don’t take part, so members will be asked to attend at least a minimum number of events. This seems fair and reasonable. Of course, I would hope that members will want to attend more frequently but busy lives can sometimes make this difficult.
To join this group: Stage 1) You will need to have completed an application form and paid your initial fee or set up a standing order. Please note – for sensible reasons, we reserve the right to refuse applications where this seems to be in the group’s best interests. If you wish, you can do this at one of our monthly Open Meets.
Stage 2) You need to get access to the online (member's only) part of the website. Look at the FAQ page for details of how to get access to the Members Area. Once you've applied to join, you will get an email with details of how to get online access.
