One of the things that people really appreciate about Social Buddies is that every event has a designated host to welcome people, help people feel included and take the lead where arrangements need to be made - sometimes the advertised arrangements for a public event are changed, for example, which means the programme needs to be quickly rejigged on the spot.
Most of the events are hosted by Jacky, who founded the group. But there is always scope for seasoned group members who want to get involved a bit more, to volunteer to host something. Please contact us if you want to know more about what is involved. |
