Hello Everyone!  Here's what's been going on this week:

Reading:  We read the story Arthur's Halloween.  We answered comprehension questions to go with it, and we created a Halloween costume for Arthur to wear.  We are going to vote on the best costume. 

Math:  We are working on chapter 4.  We have been talking about how we can use our doubles facts to help us with other problems.  We are also learning about Fact Families! 

Science:  This week we talked about reptiles.  We learned about their characteristics, watched a reptile video on the SMART board, and did some fun reptile worksheets.  We also talked about the difference between an alligator and a crocodile.

Handwriting:  This week we reviewed  Ll, Tt, Hh, and Kk.

As you know, our Halloween parties are Friday.  Please take time to review the letter Mr. LeClere sent home recently regarding the rules for Friday.  And keep your fingers crossed for NO RAIN!!!
