 This is a fundraising event to benefit the Gaylord St. Mary's Junior class, which will be held at Treetops Resort in Gaylord on April 25,2009. A premiere golf and spa destination in Northern Lower Michigan. The race will be held on the Rick Smith's Tradition golf course and should prove to be very enjoyable. Treetops is offering special room rates starting at just $69.00 a night to all runners so you could make a mini vacation of it, just call and let them know you are a participant in the race.
This is a Governors Council of physical fitness endorsed event. Runners who participate in this event can register for a chance to be one of only 300 runners to participate in the 2010 Mackinac Bridge Labor Day Run. Prizes will be awarded to the top runners in age group and overall male and female runners at an Awards Ceremony. Proceeds will benefit the St. Mary's Junior class with a portion being donated to the Otsego County United Way.
