12/30/11  Still waiting for winter to arrive.
1/29/12  Unbelievable winter.  Still waiting for some real snow to arrive.  Some folks were out riding on the little snow we did get and conditions were boney at best.  There's not much snow out there now.  Lake ice is always a question.  It was not very thick a few weeks ago and has been hit with snow, sleet and rain in the past week.  As always, if you venture out on the ice whether by foot or by snowmobile, always check the ice thickness.
