Each year the club takes a trip north or west to ride some trails that are more likely to be blessed with better snow conditions than we sometimes find here on the MidCoast. This year we are looking at a trip to the nearby Farmington area where we will have access to ITS 82 and 89 and the BlackFLy Loop with a day ride to Rangely a likely destination. The annual club trip is currently scheduled for January 29, 30 and 31, 2010. We will be spending two nights away and having as much as three days to ride. The official club ride will be on the 30th, but members often arrive early and ride on Friday and sometimes stay and ride Sunday as well. This year that will be easier to do since the drive to Farmington is only about an hour and a half. All dues paying club members are welcome to participate and will qualify for the club discount on lodging. In addition, the club will pay for one night’s lodging for all ACTIVE club members and both nights lodging for all WORKING club members. An ACTIVE member is someone who attends at least four meetings between now and the trip and works at least two days on the trails. A WORKING member is someone who attends at least four meetings and works at least four days on the trails. |
