SNIPE NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP July 18 – 19 , 2009

LOCATION: Jubilee Yacht Club, Beverly, MA
RULES: The regatta will be governed by rules as defined by the current Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), including the current Snipe Class Technical Rules,
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: The Jubilee Yacht Club cordially invites all Snipe sailors who are members in good standing of the class and fleets.
SCHEDULE: Saturday, July 18, 2008 First Warning 1230 Sunday, July 19, 2008 First Warning 1100
ENTRIES: Pre-registration is encouraged. Entry fee is $70.00 payable to Jubilee Yacht Club
REGISTRATION: Registration will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 pm on Saturday, July 19 at the Jubilee Yacht Club.
MEASUREMENT: It is the responsibility of every competitor to make sure his or her boat, sail, and equipment measure to the current Snipe Technical regulations for the Snipe Class or as prescribed by the Measurement Committee.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Sailing Instructions will be available during registration hours and may be posted on the internet on the Jubilee Yacht Club site at www.jubileeyc.net . SAFETY: Life jackets shall be worn at all times on the water, except for brief periods when adjusting clothing or equipment. Additional safety rules may be specified in the Sailing Instructions.
SCORING: The low point scoring system, RRS Appendix A, will be used, including all races for each boat. (No throwout.)
PRIZES: Appropriate trophies will be awarded.
