St. Mary’s School, founded in 1924 as a Catholic Parish school, offers co-educational preschool through grade eight programs. Our school is committed to educating the whole child in a Gospel inspired atmosphere of learning with special attention to the devotion of Mary. We service the regional area of Ware and surrounding communities, and welcome students of all faiths. Our school strives to instill mutual respect, a sense of responsibility, and self-discipline in a nurturing environment. Along with providing a rigorous academic program, our goal is to prepare each child for tomorrow’s challenges.

PTO Gift Card Sales - every Monday

The Boxtop collection continues to provide revenue and materials to our school and recently sa check for over $ 600.00.  Please bundle your labels together and send them to the school office. Thank you to Sister Philomena who coordinates this endeavor. Also, we will continue to accrue Stop and Shop dollars. The PTO continues to sell GIFT cards. 

Stop & Shop News

 My school is participating in the Stop &Shop A+ School Rewards Program. Through March 29, 2012, we can earn CASH through this exciting program each time my family and friends shop at any Stop & Shop store.

 You can help! Log on to www.stopandshop.com/aplus and choose “Register your Card” from the A+ menu found under “Our Stores” to register your card online. Then, each time you shop at Stop&Shop using your STOP &SHOP Card, you will earn CASH for our school! You can track the amount of points you earn for our school by checking your grocery receipt and online when you create an account at www.stopandshop.com.  Each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Stop & Shop website.  Our school will receive a check at the end of the program. The money can be used for any of our school’s educational needs!

Taking just a minute of your time to register can make a huge difference to our school. We need your support! Please be sure to register _St. Mary’s School_ (School Name) using ID #_05993___ at www.stopandshop.com/aplus . Also, don’t forget to encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same. School volunteers are always needed. Each grade will benefit from having a Room Parent who will act as a connection between the classroom and families. This is a great opportunity to consider. Please contemplate being a lunch or recess mother, a classroom aide, an office helper. We have many open positions and your continuing help is very valuable.  Occasionally school needs substitute teachers; since this is a paid position, some of you may like to apply.

Father Jeff, the teachers, the teacher aide, Mrs. Larson, Nurse Abby, Mrs. Pajak, I and  the entire parish staff eagerly anticipate working towards what we hope will be a blue ribbon year.
