Odds and Ends WOW!
UC STUDENTS! The Chair of Catholic Studies is on track to be a reality in the Fall of 2010. Funding of this endowed position is still needed. To make that possible, the parish of St. Monica - St. George is offering a 5-1 match on your donation. If a student gives $1 the parish gives $5. The first student to take an envelope and contribute gave $20. So the parish will match Eric's donation with $100! Students will find special "chair envelopes" at the church doors, at Thursday dinners, or ask Fr. Al! We have the Fall Quarter to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime matching program! Next fall, you might be taking courses in Catholic Thought, History, Art, Theology because you contributed!
