Prayer Resources on the Web

US Bishops' Website

US Bishops' site offers a variety of helps for Catholic prayer.  One excellent resource is the New American Bible online.  You can look up the readings of the day or the coming Sunday, and you can even download the daily mass readings read aloud.  If you navigate the site, you can also find the Bishops' documents on a variety of topics.

Franciscan Radio is an electronic ministry of St. Anthony Messenger Press, to fulfill its mission to spread the Word that is Jesus Christ. Catholic radio networks and individual stations, as well as Catholic Web sites, feature the audio resources you will find on this page.

http://www.pray-as-you-go.org/

This site has a prayer for every week day that you can down load and listen to on an ipod or mp3 player.  The daily prayer experiences contain a reading of the day, music, and reflection questions.

http://www.creighton.edu/CollaborativeMinistry/cmo-retreat.html

This site offers a 34 week retreat that you can do on your own.  You can down load reflections to read and/or listen to.  This site also offers a variety of ways to enhance your spiritual life.  Check it out!

or http://www.yfc.co.uk/labyrinth/labyrinthswf/map.html

These two sites present online labyrinths that you can do on your computer.  It is the next best thing to actually walking a labyrinth!  This tool can quiet your mind and become a helpful prayer tool.
