  • PRAY for people around the world affected by the scourge of HIV and AIDS.
  • LEARN about Sophia Nyomi by reading her story.

Monday, March 16th

  • LEARN  about the Catholic social teaching principle of Dignity of the Human Person by reading the
    description in this guide.
  • PRAY  that all families affected by HIV and AIDS receive compassion in the face of their struggle.

Tuesday, March 17th

Sixth Station:  Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus
 
  • PRAY  that we can show the  compassion of Veronica by respecting and reaching out to assist our brothers and
    sisters affected by HIV and AIDS.
  • LEARN about CRS’ HIV and AIDS work in Tanzania by viewing the virtual tour at orb.crs.org.

Wenedsday, March 18th

38.6 million people worldwide are living with HIV and AIDS.  We can be proud of the United States’ contribution to the fight against HIV and AIDS worldwide.
 
  • LEARN about the U.S. contribution and
  • GIVE your voice to increase CRS' advocaty success on behalf of the poor at actioncenter.crs.org
 

Thursday, March 19th

Seventh Station:  Jesus Falls a Second Time
 

Millions of children are orphaned because their parents have fallen victim to AIDS.

  • PRAY that vulnerable AIDS orphans are able to access opportunities such as education, despite being left to care for sick relatives and younger siblings.

Friday, March 20th

  • PRAY the Lenten Prayer. 
  • FAST in solidarity with those who are hungry by eating a simple meal today.
  • LEARN about our neighbors in Tanzania by preparing  this week’s simple meal.
  • GIVE the money you saved by fasting and eating a simple meal to your RICE BOWL.
