A polite reminder to all Mini's parents/carers....children must be accompanied by an adult specifically designated as responsible for them at all training sessions/matches. SMOB mini's coaches are not able to take time out to look after a child that is hurt/cold/wet (or misbehaving!) and as such SMOB does not operate a drop off/pick up system.
From the Mini's Chairperson.....
On behalf of the Club and Mini's Committee I would like to extend a warm welcome to all players new and old with their families to the new 2009/2010 season
This is a club where success is not just judged by winning, but where equal emphasis is placed on developing lifelong skills for all children regardless of playing ability. The Mini's Committee stand firmly by the ethos that winning is not everything but taking part is, and we will strive to ensure that fair play and honorable behaviour from players, parents and coaches is as important as a winning score. Please do not hesitate to contact me in person at the club on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings or by phone/email.

Club Chairman's Welcome:
Welcome to St Mary’s Rugby Club. Please read my opening comments on the Home page. That says it all. To Players and parents, please be aware that the club has always striven to get the best out of the children regarding rugby skills, teamwork, and discipline, and to encourage good behaviour from all concerned. We already have the “RFU SEAL OF APPROVAL”. All our coaches have attended coaching courses. There is usually an assigned first –aid person with each age group. It is these small details which make us successful and a happy welcoming club. We also were one of the first to institute child protection guidelines within the club.
