February 25, 2012 Not much has been happening over this winter. Those of us who plan to plan the next reunion are staying loosely in touch, but activities regarding the 50th are still down the road, so we're not really working too hard on it. The list of people we have not been able to find has been posted to the WHERE ARE YOU? page. Check it to see if you can help us find people we can't. If you didn't get a 45th reunion invitation (which took place August 13, 2011), then chances are we don't know where you are. So click HERE and let us know what your current address is. Check back here now and then; information will be added to this site as it becomes available. October 1, 2011
Lorna (Mott) Larson, Sue (Mary Sue Cress) Horowitz and Coco Johnston have been whittling on the list of classmates we've lost touch with. Paul Yonally has been working on finding some of our finest, but lost, athletes from the Class of 1966.
If you graduated from North in '66 and have found this page, and you did not get a notice about the August 13, 2011, 45th reunion, please email SMNCLASSOF66@GMAIL.COM and update us on your email address and mailing address so we can send you information on the 50th. Include in your message any privacy preferences you might have about the information you give us.
Check back here soon. We will have a list of the classmates we absolutely cannot find. Hopefully, some of you out there will know something about someone on the list. Every little detail aids us in finding information that allows us to send them reunion news. In many cases, we don't have the married names of some of the women. Some of the men have such common names, that unless we know a wife's name, children's names, cities they've lived in, it's impossible to locate them. So everyone's help will be needed on this project.
The old site that some of you might have been familiar with had to be closed up. The technology was old, labor intensive and very expensive to keep up. This will hopefully replace it (at about 1/10th the cost) and will grow and get more interesting with time. The Internet is changing rapidly, and even this type of page may be obsolete in another couple of years. We will just have to go with the flow. As Keeper of the Webpage, I will try to maintain the same Web address -- WWW.SMNCLASSOF66.COM -- regardless of the type of page builder I use.
Stay tuned -- more to come....
