For those who have had cancer, caregivers, medical professionals and those interested in bringing more joy and laughter into there lives. We at SMILE C.A.R.E. Group. Caring and Respecting Everyone with a SMILE believe there is no generic "one size fits all" coping style for dealing with your life on a daily basis. What we realize is the overwhelming proof and evidence that how a person copes with his or her own stress, illness, or is coping with the illness of someone else, can improve the quality of there own life dramatically doing what they enjoy! We say... if you think something may work for you. try it? It could be prayer, meditation, massage, gentle exercise, small groups discussions, daily dose of laughter, music, dance, volunteer work, or simply a cup of tea with a friend. We at SMILE agree that there are many myths about complementary care, so we have tried to separate some of the quirky alternative care methods and replaced them with some good old fashion; safe, fun, healthy alternatives eating & complementary care methods. its easy to get stuck in a rut while caring for yourself, or a loved one. Complimentary means just that. Complimentary methods are not a substitute, in place of, or cure all. We ask that you use common sense when participating in any type of group activity, exercise program, changing your diet, or introducing new foods, and remember, no new pain.
