What is Welfare?!!
St.Mary's Welfare Committee is here for you! We run campaigns throughout the year to help you look after yourself during your time at Mary's. Keep an eye out for, SHAG Week (Sexual Health And Guidance), Disabilities awareness week, LGBTA week, Pink and Blue week!
St Mary’s Welfare officers offer a non-judgemental listening and information service and also dabble in supplying sexual health provisions (free of charge!!)
The Male and Female Welfare Officers (Meg and Alex) run Drop-ins in the JCR office at least 4 times a week. You can get to the JCR Office by walking up the stairs nearest the dining room. It's on the first floor west wing, just turn right. It's near the JCR President's Flat. Use the Drop-In sessions to chat to one of the Welfare Officers if you’re feeling a bit stressed or down, get some info, pick up sexual health supplies or even if you just fancy a chat! All of course in complete confidence.
