The JCR Treasurer

What does it traditionally do?

Passes financial proposals of between £100 and £750 (anything below can be signed by the Treasurer and anything above must go to a JCR meeting)
Passes a yearly budget
Passes budgets for JCR events e.g. Mary's Day, Midsummer Ball
Keeps the JCR Treasurer in line and scrutinises the financial statements each quater
