Who Makes Up The Committee?

This committee meets in Easter Term to discuss and award those nominated for College Colours. 

The Committee comprises of:

• The Executive Committee 
• Heads of JCR Committees
• Heads of Sports Clubs
• Heads of JCR societies. 

The Awards

There are different levels of College Colours:

JCR Commendations

Half Colours

Full Colours

Honorary Life Membership (HLM)

President's Vote of Thanks (PVT)

Although the committee tries to keep to this structure, there may be extreme circumstances where the committee sees fit to give an award to a member of the JCR outside of the aforementioned guidelines. The Committee attempts to fairly represent all areas of the JCR and award College Colours in a fair and honest way. The reasons for giving the various awards can be seen below. If you have nominated someone for an award, and they failed to attain one, it may be discussed in private with the President and/or other members of the JCR that attended the college colours committee.
