Whether you're a prospective student, current fresher or old Marian you'll hopefully find everything you need here!
Mary's is renowned in Durham as being one of the friendliest colleges around. But we're aren't afraid of a little competitiveness (all in the correct spirit!) and we are currently in fourth place in the all college sport rankings, we placed first last year!, and we are by no means the fourth largest college in Durham.
Anyone and everyone is welcomed at Mary's and with our beautiful old buildings and grounds, and our amazing location, literally across the road from the science site, whilst being the closest Hill college to the beautiful city centre means that you're sure to enjoy your time here!
The JCR is completely student-led, from throwing magnificent summer balls to organising our own accounts so there is something at Mary's for everyone. From our famous sports teams to prolific Drama society and amazing Chapel Choir, the essential spirit of Mary's means that everyone, no matter what they are interested in or what they are studying, fits in straight away.
This is a really exciting time to be at, or coming to, Mary's, this is the sixth year since we went mixed, and so whilst we maintain all the amazing traditions of the past, such as gowned formals, Cathedral Carol Services and JCR meetings, we are the forefront of a new era in the college and every student now is moulding the future of Mary's in a real way!

I can't stress enough how fun it is to be at Mary's, we have the best of all worlds!
